Tectonics, Inc. was incorporated in September of 1986. In the conception of the business the vision was always to become a custom automation machine manufacturer. We started in a 200 square foot basement with one man, one mill and a small saw. During the early years we did general machine shop work and manufactured automation equipment. October 1993 we ceased general machine shop operations and became only a machine builder. In November 1995 we moved into our new 12,000 square foot facility in Wytheville, Virginia. Presently we have 10 employees, each with various talents, including CAD design, electrical, PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics and machining.
